“Skateboarding Is All About Fun”

Would you guys be tempted into spreading into more hardware options sometime in the future?

“Most definitely, my original plan was to be SuperToxic Urethane and Hardware. I was going to have bolts, griptape, wax and other bits as well as the wheels when I was coming up with my plan of action for the company but unfortunately funds have held that back abit for now.”

Can you tell us about the current team and what you have lined up for them as we move into 2012?

“The current team consists of Joey Hurst (Karma Skateboards, & Altar Skate Shop), Lloyd McLeggon (Projekts Skate Shop, DC, & SUTSU Clothing), Rob McKinney (BigWoodys Skate Shop, DC, & Deadmen Skateboards), Rob Sanderson (BigWoodys Skate Shop), along with flow riders Liam ‘Danish’ Palmer (Axe Distribution), Jamie Duncanson (DC & Creative Skate Store) and new recruit Ross Zajac (S4 Skate Shop).  Couldn’t be more happy with the team so far, not only do I have a diverse team with mixed skill from super tech to super gnar, but each and every one of them are such rad people.

2012 is all about the brand and team growing together, and the company finding its feet.  I just want to get them all out there getting footage and pushing the brand as much as possible, but I’m also a firm believer that skateboarding is all about fun, if they are out enjoying their sessions then I’m going to see better performance and quality than if I’m pushing them too much.

There will also be a couple of announcements in the very near future regarding the team that I am stoked on, and my plan for the future is to have an ever growing team of skaters.”

Any trips planned?

“Lots of trips planned, currently talks of a trip with the guys from AXE DISTRIBUTION for over the winter months, although that is still to be confirmed. In 2012 we are going to Barcelona around Easter and Paris during the summer, I am so excited for these, 2 countries I have wanted to go and skate since I started.

We recently had a trip up to Newcastle where we met up with the guys from Creative Skate Store situated in Inverness, and after one of the best weekends of my life we are planning to meet up with them all again, possibly a trip to Edinburgh as well.”
