‘Sup Skateroos?!

January – probably the most depressing month of the year: back to work after the festive break, bills, broken resolutions, damp, grey and cold, and the only thing to look forward to is… February.

Still, musn’t gruuuumble – although I just can’t help myself at the moment. Think I may have S.A.D.  Anyways, hope y’all managed to get some rolling time in during the last month, either indoors or out? Got a few missions in myself, but not as many as I’d have liked.

Enough doom and gloom – onto the good news. This months Issue is a blinder – we’re really stoked on it here at SP Towers. We bagged an exclusive interview with photographic legend Grant Brittain! We’re so psyched on this piece – interview came out pretty good, and his pics speak for themselves. Awesome.

Also we have a very cool feature on the Isle Of Wight skate scene – yeah, we didn’t think they had one either!! Plus all the usual features: ‘Missions’, your gnarly pics in ‘Exposure’, and a great ‘Lens Flare’ featuring the talents of Devin Radabaugh from Ohio. Plus the ‘Win A Faltown Longboard’ competition runs for one more month, and we have a new heaving bag of  swag as a comp prize from those lovely ‘Wight Trash’ fellas

Talking of competitions, congratulations to Tim Coombs, who won our Unit 19 comp from Issue #1. Tim and a handful of his lucky mates will be shredding the Unit at a private evening session very soon – I’m sure we’ll have some sweet pics up to record proceedings. Congratulations Tim.

We’ll also be announcing the winner of our O”blue Thrashion Jewellery comp on our Facebook page during February, so eyes peeled if you entered (and many did – so, cheers!)

Last bit of good news (it just keeps coming, don’t it?!), is we have now taken delivery of our new ‘Artist’ tee-shirts. The first in this series has been beautifully illustrated by graphic designer, and skater, Sean Docherty. The detail on the “Limited Wings” print has to be seen to be believed, and we’re very excited to be able to offer it to you guys at such a great price – only £12.99 (plus shipping). Visit our new online store for more details, and to place your orders. These are a very limited run, so first-come-first-served.

Hope you enjoy the new issue – we’ve loved putting it together for you. Tell your friends, share the love – it’s free!
